This informational graphic book about fish told in a (car)toon format, introduces the curious goldfish owner about the life, history, and care of pet fish.  A young boy and girl tell readers about fish with the fish and other animals or characters chirping in about facts stated.  The text is minimal and will be easy to read by primary children.  It provides a good introduction about fish as a species.  The ‘about the author,’ ‘how to read comics with kids,’ and how the toon books are leveled are provided at the back of the book for parents.  This is a level 1 Toon book, which includes 100-300 sight words, short sentences, and one or two cartoon panels per page.
