Sun Dog

Reviewed by:

Juno and her boy live… at the top of the world.
Named after the sun dogs which appear in the skies of northern Canada and above the Arctic Circle, Sun Dog ( a sled dog pup) and her boy grow and live their lives on the tundra. In the land of the midnight sun, when the sun does not set during the summer, Sun Dog is restless and goes on an adventure of her own leading to the joys and dangers of the tundra.  It is her heroes, the sled dogs, who rescue her and lead her back home.
The delightful, vibrant polymer clay and acrylics used in this book bring to life the richness, diversity of life on the tundra as well as honours the animals and way of life of modern-day children and their pets in the Arctic.
